Last Saturday we turned 1. It's quite a big deal, more for Mommy and Daddy than for us. We had a relatively low-key morning and afternoon. The highlight was having our birthday cookies, chocolate chip of course.
After naps, however, things turned much better. Mommy and Daddy threw a party to celebrate one year of being a family of five. It wasn't a birthday party; it was a celebration of survival. Some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Here we are playing at the water table. It's pretty fun and we'll probably be using it more as the weather turns warmer.
Note to Aunt Meredith: don't let us feed ourselves icing.

It's birthday central around here. Before we can talk about ours, we want to put up the picture we took with Dad and Helen for his birthday. It was a great day! We spent a lot of time together and with Grandma Gail and Grandpa Joe, who were in for a visit. We slept well the night before and the night of his birthday, which was probably one of the nicer gifts we could have given to the bestest Daddy in the whole wide world.
