Right outside of our room there is a mountain stream with lots and lots and lots and lots of rocks. Even though it's SUPER COLD in the water, we've taken to wading in to find good rocks to throw.

Mommy and Daddy have been looking for things for us to do in the morning, before it gets too hot in the mountains. They found Fish Creek Falls, one of the neatest waterfalls in Colorado (or so someone says). We parked the car and took a 1/5 mile hike down a dirt path to the falls.
We sat on some rocks to rest...
...or we stood in front of rocks for a photo-op.
Sometimes we sat in tree roots.
Sure enough, we got to play in the water too. Chilly but fun.
And we had to walk back to the car. Uphill is definitely easier than downhill.

We're still in Colorado but we've moved west a bit. We're in Steamboat Springs, elevation 6695 feet. Mommy and Daddy did something with their timeshare to get us a SWEEEEEEEEET place here -- it feels as big as our house.
We got here Monday afternoon and went into downtown Steamboat Springs after dinner. We found Fuzziwigg's Candy Store and were very happy. I (Alice) got a black cherry candy stick; Gabi got a strawberry one. Since we love each other so much, we shared.
Across the street from Fuzzisigg's is FM Light and Sons, the rootinist, tootinist, awesomist cowboy shop there is. Outside of the store is Lightning, the horse. We both had a little help in getting onto his back but neither of us wanted to get down.

Still out here in Denver. Yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July, but with no fireworks -- it is so dry in Colorado that no one is allowed to have fireworks. At all.
How did you celebrate? We went to the playground and went on the swings...
...we climbed on stuff with Daddy's help...
...we drank lots of water (remember, it's hot in Denver)...
...and we wore inflatable stars on our head.

We're in Denver for our second visit since we were born. Even though we've been to Maine and Denver and Dallas and Miami, this is the first time that Mommy and Daddy bought seats for us in the plane. Things went really well on the plane. Why? Lots of food like grapes, DVDs of Elmo, and books for us to read.
It's really hot in Denver but Grandma and Grandpa's house has lots of shade in the backyard. It was great for blowing bubbles.
Grandma and Grandpa bought a tent and tunnel play set for Helen a few years ago. We were SOOOOO excited to see it.
Yesterday we went to the Denver Children's Museum. Helen got to go when she was almost 2 years old. Now it's our turn. Here we are inside a huge bubble.
The birdcage area is still the same. Instead of a Helen picture in it, we have a family picture (or, an almost-family picture -- Mommy is behind the camera).
The neatest part was the play area where they have animal masks. We both liked them.
Our very first bunk bed. The real one isn't too far off...
